Denmark's oldest vinyl record shop Badstuerock is located in Badstuegade 22 in Aarhus’ latin quarter, and is one of Denmark's oldest still running independent record stores. The history of the latin quarter dates back to the 14th century, where originally laid viking fortifications are found. Badstuerock opened its doors for the first time in 1973 with its original owner Mike D’Agustues. Mike, aged 22 at the time, had lived in a nearby street and created Badstuerock.
