We were digging cut-out bins, flea markets, and music stores for over 40 years before opening Elk City Records in 2017. The shop at 601 Maryland Avenue (northwest corner with Lee Street) is about twice the size of our first location, with free, ample curbside parking. Areas are now set aside for 45 and 78 rpm records, organized by (i) genre and (ii) alphabetically by label.
