Since opening, the shop has become a hub for music lovers and collectors of all ages. With a wide price range across many genres of pre-loved vinyl, Hot Frog Records can cater to first time buyers, avid collectors and everyone in-between. Owner Chris started his interest in music in the 60’s, collecting records his whole life. Now ‘retired’ he decided to do what he loves and since Runcorn hasn’t had a record shop since the 90’s, the time felt right. With the help of his two kids, Hot Frog Records opened it’s doors in October 2023.
